AMY ZAMARRIPA CRANIOSACRAL & MASSAGE THERAPIES

We have maintenance plans for everything but our bodies in today's fast paced society. Our health and well-being requires  us to take the time to give support and care to the one vehicle we can't park and get out of. Give back to your body so that you can continue to live your life in the ways that you prefer. Our lives require more and more resilience in the face of ever increasing demands on our time and focus. Consistent body work eases the wear and tear of daily activities and allows us full use of our bodies for a better quality of life.

CRANIOSACRAL & MASSAGE THERAPIES

I have learned through the years that the best gift we can give ourselves and our loved ones is peace of mind when it comes to our health and well-being. When we allow ourselves to practice consistent self-care we fill our own cup up. This makes it possible to give without depleting ourselves. That's a win-win for all involved! If you enjoy giving and showing how much you care it's wonderful for those on the receiving end to know that you're not hurting yourself in the process.

Working with chiropractors in rehabilitation environments has shown me the necessity of maintenance programs to promote prolonged physical well being.

The CranioSacral modality has proven to be a beneficial addition to the productive tools and techniques that I utilize in order to facilitate the thorough unwinding necessary for a body, bringing a more enlivened life experience.

I have specialties in the areas of CranioSacral Therapy that focus on supple pathways for the cranial nerves as well as beneficial techniques that support increased cerebrospinal fluid flow for optimal drainage and circulation benefiting glial cell function.

Working with children and their families as a whole as well as pre/postnatal care for moms.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

FASCIA FOCUS

I offer a whole body focus that provides you with productive pain relief techniques. For chronic headaches, eye strain and sleepless nights, due to tension, this work proves beneficial. Restless leg syndrome and TMJ issues may also be addressed during sessions with me. I enjoy showing my clients that in just a few treatments they can experience increased ease in the use of their bodies. There is no need to bully your system to open and relax. I offer the type of work that invites your muscles to let go and reset.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY

UPLEDGER INSTITUTE GRADUATE

CST is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, releases restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.

A balanced flow of Cerebrolspinal fluid is ideal for your well-being and functioning. CraniSacral therapy focuses on a gentle opening and expanding of your fascia and supportive muscular platforms in your body.

The possibilities are endless. Your inner world is like outer space. Just choose to engage in techniques that will relieve constrictions and there is no telling how far you will grow!

TRIGGER POINT THERAPY

FOR CHRONIC PAIN RELIEF

Trigger Points are located in the the muscles of the body. They are a sure road map of pain if they are 'active' and causing the muscles to spasm. You may feel odd referral pain above, below or front to back when a trigger point needs to be 'cleared'. I use a full handed approach when working with trigger points. Elbows and thumbs can tend to create more pain than necessary when working with sensitive bindings in your muscle tissue.

You may be amazed at how quickly you can experience relief from pain when trigger points are calmed down and your muscles can function properly.

A little goes a long way towards resetting the foundation of ease in your body!

Decide that you want to function with more ease. Allow the body time to unwind. It takes time to resolve years of constriction. Give yourself the gift of consistent care. You can't park your body and get out of it for awhile. It's the vehicle that carries you constantly throughout your life. Create a maintenance program to show your support and reverence for your system. Your body will support you back.

CranioSacral Therapy works with the pulse of the Cerebrospinal Fluid found within the Craniosacral System.
